The seminar will explain the General Conditions section in the FIDIC red book to familiarize attendees with the FIDIC Contract conditions for projects designed by the employer.  

The seminar will provide overview on the history of the FIDIC Organization, FIDIC publications: white, red, yellow, orange, new red, silver, and green books, the tender procedures, the joint venture and consortium agreement, sub-consultancy agreement and subcontracting agreement. 

This seminar will provide a brief overview of the occurrence and applicability of FIDIC contracts in the Gulf given their historic and widespread use internationally, particularly in the public sector.
